Sprott-Shaw Degree College

Sprott-Shaw has a long history of helping its students to develop firm mastery of their chosen fields of study, while also staying in touch with workplace trends and employer needs to support students’ career objectives. Consistent with these goals, the Sprott-Shaw BBA degree offers full coverage of the functional areas of business (accounting, communications, economics, finance, human resource management,  law, marketing, production, statistics); it also requires seven specialized courses in a student’s area of concentration (Human Resources Management, Marketing, International Business Management, and Accounting).

Sprott-Shaw has always provided a special learning environment for its students.  BBA faculty members are selected for both their academic preparation and their practical business experience. This facilitates integration between theory and practice at the classroom level. Small classes allow faculty to pay unique attention to each student’s progress, and to provide additional resources, such as weekly tutorials, to enhance student learning of more complex theories and concepts.

As a member of the CIBT Education Group, Sprott-Shaw strives to provide a "global" classroom experience.  Students have a chance to work with, learn alongside, and experience the points of view of an internationally diverse group of learners. The goal is a learning environment that mirrors the international and multicultural workplace of the 21st century.
